I received the Lovesac in shrunk form, packed in a duffle bag. Along with the sac, I received a cardboard box containing the removeable cover packed in a plastic bag. The removable cover makes it easy for maintaining the bean bag, which ensures you have invested in the right option.

Choosing the Right Location

I selected a suitable location for my Lovesac bean bag. My chosen location was a  spacious area where I was able to enjoy the comfiness and relaxation of using the bean bag without disturbance. Also, for a giant-size sac like Lovesac, you do need a big space to assemble it safely.

Step 1. Unpacking My LoveSac Bean Bag

Firstly, I carefully unzipped the duffle bag having the sac in shrunk form.

Step 2. Pulling Out Inner Sac

Then, I took help from my friend to pull out the Shrunk inner sac from the duffle bag. The inner sac is covered in plastic and has Durafoam filling in it, which makes it a premium bean bag. Just a quick tip, Instead of pulling the sac, turn over the duffle bag and pull the bag towards the outside.

Step 3. Expand the Sac

Then, I removed the plastic from the sac and waited for the bean bag to expand. Sac took about an hour to expand fully. In case you want to speed up the process, you may break the foam by punching, kicking it, or even letting your kids dance on it, but it will take a lot of your energy.

Step 4. Fluff the Bean Bag

Once the sac was fully expanded, I fluffed the bean bag by tossing it around and constantly rotating it clockwise and anti-clockwise. You can fluff it any way you like. The best way is to grab the sac from the bottom and roll it up. Repeat the process till the sac is fluffed enough.

Fluffing a sac to its full capacity can take up to a week. Though you don’t have to wait for that much time to put a cover on it.

Step 5. Unpack Cover for Sac

Now, it was time to put the cover on the bean bag. I opened the cardboard box and removed the plastic from the cover. Before proceeding, I inspected the bean bag cover for any damage. It’s essential to ensure everything is in perfect condition before assembly.

Step 6. Unzip the Entire Cover

Next, I unzipped the complete zipper of the cover.

Step 7. Tie Up Laces of Cover with Sac

At the end of the cover’s zippers, I found two shoelaces-type strings. And on both ends of the zipper on the sac, I found two weaving loops. To attach the cover with the naked sac, I tied the strings with the loops. I passed the strings through each loop and tied both of the strings separately at each cover’s zipper corner.  

Step 8. Toss the Cover

Then, I tossed the entire cover on the sac.

Step 9. Close the Zipper

Now, I need to zip up the cover. For that, I located the head of the zipper and slowly started to zip up the cover on the sac. I rotated the sac and pulled the cover together while I slowly closed its zipper. I kept on rotating the sac away from me and closing the zipper till the whole sac was zipped up.

Just to let you know, removing the cover for cleaning and other reasons is as easy as putting the cover.

Step 10. Shake and Fluff the Sac Again

Once I had put the cover on the sac, I gave it a shake and fluffed it a bit again. And now, I was ready to enjoy using my giant bean bag.
